West Kowloon Station Hong Kong

With the opening of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Line XRL there will be a China Mainland immigration checkpoint co-located in the train station at West Kowloon Station Hong Kong. Meaning, that before boarding the train in Hong Kong you will need to exit Hong Kong customs and pass through Chinese immigration then you can ride the train into Shenzhen or onwards to Guangzhou without further checks. More about the station here. I have not heard at this point as to whether visas on arrival will be an option at this checkpoint as they are at Luohu and Huanggang borders.
