Historical Gaze – a visit to contemporary Chinese art at The Jupiter Museum in Shenzhen
The Jupiter Museum, located in Futian, is cool new venue on Shenzhen’s museum scene and is presently offering an exhibition of contemporary Chinese art entitled “Historical Gaze — a visit to contemporary Chinese art”.
The exhibition features oil paintings, videos, sculptures and photographs from artists such as Fang Lijun, Liu Jianhua, Miao Xiaochun, Shen Shaomin, Sui Jianguo, Zhang Xiaogang, Zhou Li, Liang Quan, Wang Shaoqiang, Xu Bing, Zhang Peili, Dai Yun and Song Dong. Works were curated by Wang Chunchen, deputy director of CAFA Art Museum in Beijing.
Exhibition dates: December 14, 2019 – June 21, 2020
Exhibition time: 10:00-18:00 (closed on Mondays)
