Haiya is a well-known department store operator in China and have opened a massive new mall in Bao’an District.

hmm

Haiya Mega Mall (the Chinese name, 海雅缤纷城, translates to Haiya Fun City) has a total construction area of nearly 300,000 square meters and an investment of 3.6 billion yuan making it, well, big! It features big brand stores, theme malls, pedestrian street, water landscapes, tourist promenade, an array of Chinese and Western restaurants, a bar street, sports center. It also features a 1200 seat performance theater.

Here’s a list of the restaurants and eateries:

hmm-dining

It’s mostly casual dining, and the supermarket also features a hot food buffet around lunch times and dinner times, there some seating there too. Just near the supermarket, there’s actually four bakeries, several cake and desert shops, several bubble tea shops, plus Japanese noodles and sushi, a Malaysian restaurant and Chinese fare.

There’s also a deli city on the upper levels. For shopping, it’s simply too much to mention. For entertainment, there is the Grand Theater plus a Wanda Imax cinema. Near the Imax, you’ll find a Holly coffee shop and several milk tea shops, cake shops and the like. Starbucks is here too. There’s also an al-fresco style area with bars.

Brand names include Swarovski, Etude House, Gucci, Lancome, Bloves, G2000, Max&co, Marisfrolg, GAP, Bose, Calvin Klein, Adidas, Timberland, Nike, Fila, Jack & Jones, Alienware, Zara, H&M, UNIQLO, to name just some.

This area has been a shopping area for some time and if you grow tired of the glitzy mall ambiance, you can wander out along Jian An 1st Road where you’ll find more drink shops and clothes shops, then head down Xinghua 2nd road to see more.
