Shenzhen Museum

The Shenzhen Museum is located in Futian District adjacent to Lianhuashan Park in the north and Shennan Road in the south. It is a comprehensive museum based on geography and is a collection of historical relics and historical research in Shenzhen. The Shenzhen Museum was founded in 1981 and opened in November 1988. It covers an area of about 37,000 square meters and a building area of 18,000 square meters.

Shenzhen Museum consists of four exhibitions, including exhibition buildings, work buildings, cultural relics and audio-visual halls.

It displays some 20,000 artifacts mostly collected from the wider region and has an understandable focus on Hakka and Cantonese culture.
